Flesher Focus Communication Guidelines

We love hearing from our neighbours and encourage you to share your stories, photos, recipes, tips, and community news! To keep the Flesher Focus welcoming and enjoyable for everyone, please follow these simple guidelines when submitting:

1. Keep it respectful

   • Please avoid offensive, discriminatory, or aggressive language.

   • Submissions should reflect the spirit of kindness and community.

2. Stay relevant

   • Content should be of interest to HW Flesher Co-Op members and relate to community living, events, or neighbourly life.

3. Keep it concise

   • Short and sweet is best. Aim for 150–400 words for written pieces.

   • Photos should include a short caption or description.

4. Original content only

   • Please share your own work (stories, photos, recipes, etc.).

   • If quoting or referencing someone else’s work, provide credit.

5. Positive contributions

   • While constructive feedback is welcome, submissions should be solution-focused and written with a positive tone.

6. Right to edit

   • The editorial team may edit for clarity, length, or formatting while keeping the spirit of your submission intact.

7. No advertising or promotion

   • The Flesher Focus is for community connection, not commercial use.
